Access Engineering was well-honored at Best Corporate Citizen Awards 2016

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) held “The Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award 2016” at a glittering ceremony at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo on last Thursday bringing together organizations celebrating their achievements in improving business operations and excellent sustainability outcomes.

Access Engineering PLC; the foremost Civil Engineering Enterprise in Sri Lanka was one among the handful of organizations which could pick up a slew of prestigious accolades at the ceremony in appreciation of its strategic Corporate Sustainability Initiatives.

While Aitken Spence, Cargills, Ceylon Biscuits Limited, Diesel Motor Engineering, Hatton National Banks, Hayleys, John Keells Holdings, People’s Leasing & Finance, Sampath Bank and Singer (Sri Lanka) were recognized as the Top Ten Corporate Citizens of the year, Access Engineering became the winner of the category of firms with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 15 billion.

Additionally the company could also clinch the winner award in the overall construction industry which assesses the interactions of corporate entities in specific industries with its diverse stakeholders.

Hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the Best Corporate Citizen sustainability awards is the only corporate event in Sri Lanka that encourages and recognizes the outstanding work carried out by the corporate entities whose business ethos transcend the immediate objective of increasing bottom line.

Access Engineering PLC which is woven into the fabric of Sri Lankan society, touches millions of Sri Lankan lives every day.
